About the role
We are seeking an experienced Manager Mobile Maintenance to join our team to provide strategic and operational leadership across the entire Mobile Maintenance function, overseeing one of the country's largest autonomous mining fleets.
This critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring fleet reliability, availability, and performance while supporting safe, efficient, and sustainable production outcomes.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in balancing the demands of a mature fleet while helping shape the future fleet, rebuild, and lifecycle strategies. With a strong focus on embedding fit-for-purpose systems, standardising work practices, strengthening organisational capability, and driving continuous improvement, you will help position the operation for long-term success. Leading a large and diverse team, you will foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and innovation, while delivering measurable improvements in maintenance performance and asset outcomes.

Duties:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Mobile Maintenance department.
- Drive maintenance excellence through effective reliability, availability, and asset performance strategies.
- Lead and mentor a large team of maintenance, trades, and technical professionals.
- Champion safe work practices and foster a strong culture of care, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities align with production and business objectives.
- Lead change initiatives and embed standardised work practices across the maintenance function.
- Oversee maintenance planning, execution, and performance to ensure equipment availability supports the mine plan.
- Contribute to future fleet lifecycle planning, rebuild programs, and capital investment strategies.
In addition to the above, you'll build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across our operational teams and functional support teams while externally, you'll partner with our original equipment manufacturers.
Skills and Experience:
- Significant leadership experience within mobile maintenance, asset management, or heavy industry environments.
- A proven track record leading large maintenance teams in a mining or comparable operational setting.
- Strong understanding of fleet reliability, maintenance optimisation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading operational change and driving cultural transformation.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across multiple business functions.
- A values-driven leadership style with a genuine commitment to people, safety, and performance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, Maintenance, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
