Commercial Analyst I

We are looking for a Commercial Analyst I to join our Energy Trading & Commercialization team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting electricity purchase and sale operations, contributing to process efficiency and strengthening relationships with our customers in the free energy market.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary analysis of electricity sales contracts for free-market consumers, focusing on long-term transactions and compliance with electricity sector regulations.
  • Monitor the preparation of commercial proposals and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company guidelines.
  • Support billing calculation procedures, including prices, regulated tariffs, and tax rates according to contractual schedules.
  • Provide administrative support for energy trading operations, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and commercialization rules.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, adding value to commercialization activities.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of corporate systems, proposal models, and commercialization practices, working in partnership with the IT department.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, internal projects, and the maintenance of the department’s regulatory documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Social Sciences, Engineering, or Exact Sciences.
  • Knowledge of electricity purchase and sale contracts in both the free and regulated contracting environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processing software, and presentation tools.
  • Intermediate English proficiency (B1), with the ability to participate in conversations and deliver presentations.
  • Previous experience with electricity market operations and commercialization processes.
  • Organized profile with strong commercial awareness and excellent cross-functional relationship-building skills.
  • Preferred qualifications: postgraduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Management, or Law, and knowledge of Power BI.
