Role Summary

You will be responsible for the technical configuration, development, and maintenance of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Marketing Activation platform. This role spans the marketing ecosystem, specifically focusing on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement customer-focused platforms, including Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutions.

  • Develop and integrate multiple data flows and pipelines to consolidate disparate customer interaction streams into a single source of truth for use across the marketing and advertising technology stack.

  • Contribute to the development of customer data models to support marketing segmentation, targeting, personalization, and sales enablement.

  • Collaborate with global and divisional marketing teams to advance first-party data collection, integration efforts, and data-driven marketing strategies.

  • Partner with digital marketing, analytics, and eCommerce technical teams to integrate relevant customer data effectively.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's consumer and professional environment.

  • Manage business relationships with global and divisional marketing teams to support strategic objectives regarding first-party data, unified profiles, and golden records.

  • Provide input for estimating engagement activities and execute projects following Agile methodologies, including Scrum.

  • Document knowledge and share best practices

  • Maintain and proactively expand technical expertise through internal training, external learning opportunities, and self-study.

  • Liaise with software vendors to deliver global solutions

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, demonstrating expertise in Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automations, Query Studio, and CloudPages.

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, with specialized proficiency in Profiles, Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMO), Activation, Data Transformations, Segments, and Identity Resolution.

  • Practical experience analyzing golden records, unified profiles, first-party data, and consent management frameworks.

  • Knowledge of global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on customer data management.

  • Background in multi-channel customer activation strategies (including Email, SMS, Social Media, etc.) and user acquisition.

  • Advanced SQL capabilities, including deep knowledge of relational databases and the ability to author complex queries.

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, particularly API management and Cloud Run Functions.

  • Applied proficiency in writing script languages like AMPscript and JavaScript.

  • Solid understanding of data modeling methodologies and industry best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to thrive within collaborative team settings.

  • Highly self-motivated individual who can efficiently manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience collaborating within Agile/Scrum delivery teams and using project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
