What We Do…

We’re people who love technology but know that hoteliers just want things to be simple. So since 2006 we’ve been constantly innovating our world-leading hotel commerce platform to help accommodation owners find and book more guests online - quickly and simply.

We’ve helped everyone from boutique hotels to big chains, enabling travellers to book igloos, cabins, castles, holiday parks, campsites, pubs, resorts, Airbnbs, and everything in between.

And today, we’re the world’s leading open hotel commerce platform, supporting 50,000 hotels in 150+ countries - with over 130 million reservations processed by SiteMinder’s technology every year.

About the Market Performance Manager role…

The Market Performance Team Manager leads a high-performing team of Market Performance Team Leads and Specialists who optimise distribution and revenue strategy for our hotel customers. This role is accountable for building and scaling a centre of excellence in market performance — ensuring hotels maximise bookings and profitable revenue through the intelligent use of SiteMinder’s platform, channel mix, and pricing strategies.

Combining strategic leadership, deep commercial acumen and strong people management, the Market Performance Team Manager oversees pipeline and performance across all optimisation initiatives, drives capability development in revenue and distribution management, and partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable uplift in customer value, retention and revenue outcomes.

What you’ll do…

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive market management strategies that maximise product value and drive customer ROI, with a strong focus on revenue and distribution optimisation.

  • Team Development & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop Market Performance Team Leads and Specialists. Provide coaching, training and feedback to build deep revenue and distribution optimisation capability across the team.

  • Pipeline Management: Own and manage the optimisation and revenue pipeline (initiatives, cases and opportunities), including forecasting, prioritisation and resourcing. Monitor pipeline health, conversion and velocity, and drive continuous improvements in team productivity.

  • Performance Reporting: Build and maintain clear performance reporting on optimisation pipeline, revenue impact and team productivity, providing visibility to internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, to customers.

  • Distribution Optimisation: Design and oversee strategies that optimise distribution mix (OTAs, direct, GDS and other channels) to drive profitable bookings for hotels. Ensure the team can diagnose channel performance issues and execute corrective actions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Sales to ensure market performance and optimisation needs inform product development and go-to-market strategies.

  • Optimisation Program Design: Create and implement scalable optimisation programs that systematically improve customer outcomes and revenue performance across different tiers and segments.

  • Performance Management: Consistently meet or exceed team KPIs. Monitor pipeline, revenue and productivity metrics, and coach Team Leads and Specialists to improve conversion, quality and impact.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business. Represent the market performance function in executive forums and champion customer and revenue outcomes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance optimisation processes, tools and methodologies. Drive innovation in market performance and revenue optimisation delivery to maintain competitive advantage.

What you have…

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful market performance and/or optimisation programs that drive measurable revenue and customer outcomes.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform strategic decision-making, manage a pipeline and demonstrate ROI (e.g. RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, channel mix, conversion, productivity).

  • Solid grounding in hotel revenue management concepts, including demand forecasting, pricing, inventory and channel management, and competitive set analysis.

  • Experience optimising distribution strategy and channel mix (OTAs, direct, GDS and other channels) to improve profitability and share.
