TechnicianWe are looking for Technician (electronics) to join to our Utility Team in Urgench.
What we expect:- Knowledge of basic PLC/controller programming principles.
- Understanding of the purpose, operation, and interaction of all equipment within the assigned service area; ability to operate and configure equipment.
- Knowledge of the electronic systems and signal communication methods of equipment within the assigned area; understanding of control principles for various units and devices.
- Thorough knowledge of the single-line power supply and substation diagrams; ability to perform switching of power transformers/feeders when required.
- Ability to maintain and service electrical installations and equipment in accordance with electrical schematics.
- Strict compliance with preventive maintenance and inspection requirements according to schedules and instructions provided by the Technical Department Supervisor.
- Ability to quickly navigate technical documentation from different equipment manufacturers and accurately read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Accurate recording of equipment failures and corrective actions in maintenance and troubleshooting logs.
- Timely reporting to the Energy/Utilities Manager (or Supervisor) regarding equipment condition and spare parts requirements.
- Continuous improvement of equipment knowledge to reduce troubleshooting and downtime response time.
Education:
- Technical secondary specialized education (Technical College/Associate Degree or equivalent).
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in electrical, automation, or industrial maintenance roles.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Valid authorization to perform hazardous electrical work (Electrical Safety Group III or higher).
- Basic knowledge of PLC/controller programming and principles of interaction between electrical and electronic devices.
- Ability to operate, configure, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment from various manufacturers; ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of digital electronics, Boolean algebra, and electronic logic principles.
- Understanding of numbering systems, codes, ciphers, standard programs, and commands.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, electrical engineering devices, their components, and principles of operation and interaction.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, including types of gearboxes, transmissions, bearings, seals, chains, and their proper operation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, including sections, cross-sections, dimensions, and hatching conventions.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, including different types of electric motors, industrial power circuits, and load calculations.
- Understanding of power circuit components, including contactors, thermal protection devices, time relays, fuses, sensors, and electronic modules.
- Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of specialized electrical tools and equipment.
Computer Skills:
- Basic computer literacy and user-level proficiency in standard office applications.
Languages:
- Uzbek, Russian: Fluent.
- English: Basic level with the ability to understand technical documentation.
