In this role, you'll:
Working as part of the Regional Road Network Maintenance team delivering safe, compliant and high-quality road maintenance outcomes across NSW's regional network, this role will see you coordinate the implementation, improvement and assurance of Safety, Environment and Quality (SEQ) management systems. You'll provide expert advice and support to stakeholders, lead audit and assurance activities, analyse system performance data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance and operational excellence.
You will lead continuous improvement and assurance outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment where competing priorities, evolving legislative requirements and diverse stakeholder needs create both challenge and opportunity. You'll work closely with internal teams, local government and external partners to ensure management systems remain effective, compliant and aligned with Transport's standards and objectives.
This permanent full time opportunity is based fromour Wagga Wagga office, however applications will be considered for applicants able to work from other locations in the south west including Hay, Narrandera and Yass. This position will require travel to councils and onsite locations.

About you
Your expertise in quality, safety and environmental management systems, developed across infrastructure, construction, transport, asset management, government or related industries, will see you excel in driving compliance, coordinating audits, influencing stakeholders and embedding continuous improvement practices that deliver strong operational and customer outcomes.
You're recognised as a collaborative and solutions-focused professional, skilled at building stakeholder relationships, analysing performance data and implementing system improvements. You bring experience in the development, maintenance and assurance of quality, safety and environmental management systems, with a strong understanding of compliance, risk management and audit processes. Your ability to influence others, navigate competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes will position you for success in this role.
