About the Role
The Management Associate is a structured development role within DKSH's Healthcare business unit in Malaysia, designed to build broad functional capability through exposure to strategic and operational projects across the organization. This role contributes directly to business unit effectiveness while equipping high-potential individuals with the experience, knowledge, and relationships needed to grow a meaningful career at DKSH.
What You Will Deliver
- Support day-to-day management of operating expenditure against budgets to ensure efficient and responsible use of resources across the business unit
- Build a thorough understanding of end-to-end functional operations within the assigned business unit through active involvement and structured learning
- Contribute to multiple short-term and long-term functional assignments to develop breadth of product knowledge and a strong understanding of the company's service offerings
- Internalize operational procedures across assigned functions and proactively propose continuous improvement initiatives where applicable
- Provide administrative coordination support to the department, facilitating effective and timely engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Project-manage and coordinate special assignments delegated by mentors and senior leaders, ensuring quality delivery within agreed timelines
- Develop meaningful and productive relationships with customers, clients, and internal stakeholders under the guidance of experienced business leaders
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service, Sales Operations, or Commercial Coordination
- Experience in the Food Ingredients, Specialty Chemicals, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is preferred
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving ability
- Hands-on experience in quotation preparation, order processing, and sales administration
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and logistics coordination processes
- Familiarity with food ingredient documentation including Specifications, Certificates of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Halal certificates, and regulatory submissions
- Good understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as SAP and Salesforce; prior experience with these platforms is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong planning, multitasking, and organizational skills
