The Administrative Clinical Care Partner is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and supports the unit by maintaining inventory to include chart supplies, patient educational supplies, and daily unit supplies. Performs basic patient care skills for our Telemetry/Oncology/Stroke population, follows infection control practices, assists in transfers, and transports patients before and after procedures. Additionally, tasks include cleaning and preparing gurneys. ACCP's within the scope of practice assist with vital signs and transports patients ready for discharge under the discretion of the registered nurse. In addition, the ACCP's report any pertinent information to the Registered Nurse. Your shift may be variable to meet departmental needs.
Salary Range: $26.57-$35.02 hourly
Job Qualifications

California CNA Certification required. Previous experience as a CNA required.
BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
Ability to pass an 8 hour computer data entry training course.
Ability to perform all physical requirements pertaining to delegated nursing, PT/OT, and RT assisted tasks.
Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred.
Recent ward clerk and/or appropriate clerical experience in an acute hospital environment.
Skill in evaluating and reporting various kinds of emergent information pertinent to the functioning of an inpatient care unit.
Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner when there are competing requirements and a heavy workload.
