Join Colgate-Palmolive, a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for people, their pets, and our planet. Guided by our core values—Caring, Inclusive, and Courageous—we foster a culture that inspires our people to achieve common goals. Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Hill’s Pet Nutrition, we are guided by a shared purpose to help enrich and lengthen the special relationships between people and their pets.

We are looking for a Finance Cost & Accounting Specialist to serve as the primary finance business partner supporting Hill's Brazil accounting and cost initiatives. In this role, you will be a key driver of financial insight—establishing plans, tracking KPIs, delivering robust analytics, maintaining internal controls, and empowering our commercial teams to make informed margin decisions.

If you are a courageous, collaborative, and caring finance professional ready to drive operational excellence, optimize working capital, and make an impact on our business performance, we invite you to apply!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cost Management & Analytics: Lead quarterly Standard Cost calculations for local and imported products, managing timely submissions of costs and intercompany prices. Update and maintain the Import Costs Dashboard, delivering actionable insights and trend analysis.

  • Financial Reporting & Insights: Communicate monthly financial results to the Finance Manager and key stakeholders, highlighting critical events, financial statement trends, manufacturing variances, and actionable plans to close performance gaps.

  • Working Capital & Inventory Control: Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls related to inventory management (including physical counts, DOC tracking, SLOB review, and GR/IR un-vouchered accounts). Partner with CS&L to reconcile and monitor inventory accounts.

  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Lead the BR GAAP vs. US GAAP reconciliation process, ensure full compliance with SOX and Colgate Financial Policies, and oversee internal controls to proactively identify gaps and initiate corrective actions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Global Supply Chain B&P, CBS, and Procurement to explain cost fluctuations, purchase price variances (PPV), and exchange rate impacts. Serve as the main finance point of contact for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) full-service providers.

  • Planning & Budgeting: Manage conversion cost budgets, latest estimates (LEs), Optima calculations, and SKU maintenance (block/unblock) to guarantee accurate master data control for costing and inventory purposes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Validate Funding the Growth (FTG) projects, ensure database integrity, and champion special projects by seeking out best practices across Colgate and Hill's supply chain network.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Solid experience in Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain Financial Analytics, including a background leading or managing projects.

  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • Proficiency with core financial systems and tools (MS Excel, SAP - BI & BPC, Google Suite).

  • Strong analytical ability, proactive problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Practical working knowledge of US GAAP, BR GAAP, SOX compliance, and corporate financial policies.

  • Prior experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), Supply Chain Finance, or Manufacturing environments.
