Reporting to: Field Sales Manager

 

We are looking for a veterinary consultant to visit and work with the district's veterinary clinics and possibly also with some pet stores. The service is a full-time permanent position.

Hill's Pet Nutrition is looking for a Territory Manager who needs to be based in central Finland. The sales district will be defined based on the selected candidate’s location. The position involves responsibility for business development of Hill's Prescription Diet, Science Plan, Vet Essentials brands. This involves technical training and presentation of products to veterinarians, veterinary nurses and other animal care providers. You will also prepare commercial business development plans and programs for your customers. In addition, you will represent Hill's at various events such as congresses and exhibitions. 

 

The main responsibilities for this position are

  • Work in close partnership with veterinary professionals, providing education and helping customers to improve their nutritional knowledge in order to drive recommendation and endorsement of Hill’s brands

  • Development of Hill’s brands presence in clinics to enhance loyalty between Hill’s, veterinary clinics and consumers

  • Effective implementation of business and category development initiatives to achieve sales objectives

  • Implementation of plans that optimise coverage of the territory and efficient visits in order to deliver the very best service to the clinics and partners

What you will bring

We are looking for a person who is ideally trained in animal care, and preferably to have sales experience in the veterinary industry, the pharmaceutical industry or in functional foods. Travel required 60-80 % of the week, otherwise remotely from home.

  • Goal and result oriented with excellent communication skills

  • Willingness to travel to clinic locations

  • Fluent in Finnish and English, good Swedish skills is a plus

  • Good organisational and planning skills

  • Driving licence mandatory

  • Relevant experience in customer and business development

  • Relevant digital marketing experience is a plus
