SummaryThis position is responsible for the provision of cardiopulmonary services, administers respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Performs diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Mandatory overtime is an essential job function of this position. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test, and a pre-employment background check. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Welch Community Hospital is a tobacco free campus.

Licensure/Certifications:
Current licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the West Virginia Board for Respiratory Care.
