For more information about our craft, visit https://worldlink-us.com. WHO we’re looking for: Recent graduates (or at least will be graduating very soon) to join our Technical Apprentice Program to work on real life projects. Role and Responsibilities:
- This position is technically focused so experience and passion for learning new technology is critical.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet project goals.
- Document all phases of research and development, including data preparation, model testing, and performance evaluation.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in engineering or similar technical field.
- 0-1 years’ work experience or academic projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
- Basic skills in SQL or Tableau, with willingness to ramp up.
- Knowledge of various technology stacks and engineering roles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communications and cross-group collaboration skills.
- Must be able to work onsite daily at WorldLink office in Frisco, TX.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
- Experienced in managing work with distributed teams.
- Proven sense of high accountability and self-drive to take on and complete big challenges.
- Confident, takes ownership, willingness to get the job done.
