We're seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operational and financial performance of a growing commercial construction office. This individual will lead the branch with full responsibility for project execution, profitability, staffing, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands both construction operations and business management. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and administrative staff while ensuring every project meets financial, scheduling, and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead all daily branch operations and overall business performance.
- Manage Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, administrative personnel, and support staff.
- Own branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and P&L oversight.
- Review project financials, labor productivity, schedules, and resource allocation across the branch.
- Establish operational goals and ensure accountability throughout the organization.
- Develop staffing plans and oversee workload balancing across multiple projects.
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison between branch leadership and other company locations.
- Identify operational improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Mentor future leaders while building a culture centered around accountability, safety, quality, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within commercial construction or specialty contracting.
- Strong financial management experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large projects and departments simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, construction operations, and workforce planning.
- Experience within fire protection, fire suppression, sprinkler systems, mechanical contracting, plumbing, or MEP construction is highly preferred.
- Engineering background or CFO-level financial and operational experience is considered a significant advantage.
- Experience with Accumatica is preferred
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve operations, and drive profitable growth.
