Are you an experienced automation systems professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, working with advanced automation systems, and delivering mission-critical projects? Siemens is looking for a Automation System Specialist to join its international project organization and support the delivery of large-scale data center projects in Finland.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing, testing, commissioning and optimizing building automation systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation throughout project delivery. You will work closely with Siemens project teams, customers, subcontractors, and commissioning colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions that meet demanding technical and operational requirements.

The position is based in Espoo.
Your responsibilities
- Support in design and testing of Datacenters automation and management systems
- Commissioning, testing, and optimizing building automation systems for large-scale data center projects.
- Programming and configuring automation systems using PXC ABT tools and related Siemens technologies.
- Configuring and utilizing Desigo CC management systems to monitor and manage automation solutions.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automation applications, program structures, and fieldbus communication.
- Executing commissioning activities in line with project requirements, quality standards, and commissioning procedures.
- Documenting commissioning results and maintaining accurate technical reports and project documentation.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
We expect you to have:
- At least 2 years of experience in automation engineering, especially in hardware design, programming and commissioning systems.
- Understanding of cabinet design, cabling and field device communication.
- Strong understanding of program structures, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve system-level issues.
- Familiarity with fieldbus technologies, including experience debugging simple communication issues.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to follow commissioning and testing structures while maintaining comprehensive documentation and reports.
The following skills and qualifications are advantageous:
- Advanced certifications or specialized training in Desigo CC, PXC systems, or related automation platforms.
- Experience working on large-scale technology infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with tools or systems used for reporting and monitoring commissioning workflows.
