As the Head of Quality Management, you will lead the quality function across the assigned organization, driving a culture of excellence, customer satisfaction, product safety, and continuous improvement. You will define and implement the overall quality strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring compliance with global standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee quality management systems, quality governance, product safety, risk management, non-conformity management, and continuous improvement initiatives across projects, manufacturing operations, and customer-facing activities. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all quality-related matters while fostering collaboration across functions to strengthen operational performance and sustainable business growth.
We are looking for an experienced quality leader with extensive expertise in Quality Management Systems, operational excellence, manufacturing quality, and leadership of cross-functional teams within complex industrial environments.
How You'll Make an Impact
• Lead the quality organization and manage national and international quality management networks, communities, and teams in alignment with Siemens Energy objectives and business priorities.
• Define and execute the overall quality vision, strategy, and roadmap to support customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including process management frameworks, governance structures, and compliance mechanisms.
• Drive the deployment of global quality initiatives and strategic quality programs while monitoring effectiveness and ensuring continuous improvement across assigned organizations.
• Lead and coordinate product safety activities, ensuring compliance with internal requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Establish robust Non-Conformity (NC) Management processes, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and lessons learned implementation.
• Ensure effective deployment of quality methodologies, risk management practices, and quality gates throughout processes, projects, and products.
• Develop and enhance quality reporting mechanisms, dashboards, and Management Review processes to support data-driven decision making.
• Drive a strong customer-focused quality culture by ensuring alignment between internal quality standards and customer expectations.
• Develop and execute communication strategies that build awareness, understanding, and engagement around key quality topics and initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement programs to strengthen quality performance, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
• Foster collaboration between Quality, Project Excellence, Manufacturing, Engineering, and EHS teams to ensure an integrated and sustainable approach to business performance.
• Support plant and project quality management activities, ensuring consistent implementation of quality standards and best practices.
• Represent the organization in quality-related interactions with customers, certification bodies, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.
• Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing quality teams while promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
What You BringEducation
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience
• 20+ years of professional experience in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Execution, or related industrial environments.
• Proven experience leading quality organizations and managing cross-functional teams within complex, multinational business environments.
• Demonstrated success in establishing and improving Quality Management Systems, operational excellence programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience working with customer-facing quality processes, regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and quality audits.
Technical Expertise
• Deep knowledge of Quality Management Systems and applicable international standards, including ISO-based management systems.
• Strong expertise in quality tools, methodologies, risk management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of Lean Management principles and operational excellence frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance practices.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, industrial operations, and product lifecycle quality requirements.
• Experience with quality reporting systems, performance management, and business analytics.
• Proficiency in digital tools and quality management software platforms.
