We are looking for a
Senior Software Engineer (API)
with extensive experience in
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices
to join a team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting client-facing applications and services
The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior engineer with strong enterprise software development experience, solid API and microservices expertise, and exposure to
AI-powered applications, intelligent automation, or Generative AI solutions
.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable software features and services.
- Design, build, and maintain REST APIs .
- Develop enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot .
- Work with modern microservices-based architectures .
- Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and peer programming.
- Translate customer and business requirements into technical designs.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams on software design and architecture.
- Balance new feature development, defect resolution, and technical debt.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines .
- Apply API management concepts and work with tools such as APIM .
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including story refinement.
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate development and improve code quality.
- Contribute to AI-powered applications, intelligent automation solutions, or Generative AI-enabled products.
Requisitos
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years of professional software development experience , with a strong background in enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+ .
- Strong professional experience with Spring Boot .
- Hands-on experience with Spring MVC and Spring Security .
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs .
- Solid experience with Microservices Architecture .
- Understanding of API management concepts and platforms such as APIM .
- Experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
- Experience working with CI/CD and DevOps teams .
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Advanced English (B2+/C1) for collaboration with international teams.

Professional experience in at least one of the following areas is highly relevant:
- AI-powered software applications.
- Generative AI / LLM-enabled products.
- Intelligent automation solutions.
- Integration of AI capabilities or APIs into enterprise applications.
- AI-assisted software engineering workflows.
