We are looking for a
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
with a strong JavaScript/TypeScript background to join a distributed engineering team working
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with the ability to lead code reviews, contribute to system design decisions, mentor other developers, and work effectively as a senior individual contributor.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, debug, and enhance complex web applications.
- Build scalable backend services using Node.js and Express .
- Develop and maintain complex Single Page Applications (SPAs) .
- Work across multiple application tiers, from database and backend services to frontend.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices .
- Lead code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
- Participate in system design decisions focused on security, scalability, performance, and data integrity .
- Write and maintain unit tests.
- Create technical documentation throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate closely with QA to define comprehensive testing strategies.
- Contribute to continuous integration and test-driven development practices.
- Participate in the modernization of existing/legacy applications.
- Mentor developers and share technical knowledge across the engineering team.
- Work effectively within a distributed Agile environment.
Requisitos
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall professional software engineering experience , ideally involving product development, architecture, or complex application support.
- 5+ years of strong hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript experience .
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript .
- Strong hands-on professional experience with Node.js .
- Experience developing RESTful services using Node.js and Express .
- Strong experience building and maintaining complex Single Page Applications (SPAs) .
- Professional experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or AngularJS .
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SCSS .
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and/or Microservices .
- Experience with Docker in Linux or macOS environments.
- Experience with NoSQL and/or MultiValue (PICK) databases .
- Experience with Git, Continuous Integration, and Agile development methodologies .
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, scalability, security, and performance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Advanced English (B2+/C1) for working effectively within an international distributed team.
⭐ Highly Desirable
- Experience with legacy application modernization .
- Cloud experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure .
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience mentoring software developers.
- Previous experience with large-scale SaaS or enterprise software products.
- Experience working across SaaS, mobile, and on-premise environments.
- Knowledge of the HCM (Human Capital Management) domain .
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
