Job Role / Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager Finance, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, budgeting, costing/pricing and conducting of feasibility studies of the AKUH, On Campus. You will serve as a Finance Business Partner by working closely with hospital operators, including the CEO.
Specifically, you will be responsible for;
· Budgeting and forecasting in relation to hospital operations
· Explore and evaluate income generating new opportunities to expand the On-Campus business, evaluate discount options and introduction of packages
· Financial reporting and analysis for the Senior Leadership and Board of Trustees
· Feasibility study of the new capital and construction projects of the hospital
· Costing of new services and review of costing of ongoing services of the hospital
· Annual pricing activity of the hospital
· Financial reporting through business intelligence (BI) tool
· Training and development of staff.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
· CA / CMA / CIMA Finalist or MBA from a reputable university with majors in Finance
· minimum of three years working experience in a management position
· have sound knowledge of overall financial systems
· be able to multitask and think out of the box
· possess exemplary interpersonal communication and report writing skills
· able to motivate team and command respect
· proficiency in computers especially MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint tool is required. Strong knowledge of Power BI and Tableau preferred
· ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines.
