The Company Financials team provides clients with fast and accurate market-moving data covering broker estimates, financial filings, and other critical datasets that help them assess financial performance. We use financial modeling, industry expertise, data management, and technical skills to curate key metrics and extract insights from our data. Our goal is to deliver a best-in-class financial analysis and modeling product while continuously expanding and enhancing our offering.

Across Company Financials Data, we are focused on building scalable, observable, and AI-ready data operations. This includes redesigning workflows, improving process efficiency, embedding automation, and ensuring that financial data is delivered with the quality, consistency, and timeliness our clients expect.

The Role:

The Company Financials Process Automation & Data Operations team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Management Professional to drive operational excellence across financial data workflows. You will leverage data, automation, and process improvement expertise to optimize production, enhance quality and controls, reduce manual effort, and scale AI-ready workflows. Partnering with Workflow, Product, Engineering, and Data Operations teams, you will deliver solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and client outcomes.

We'll trust you to:
  • Analyze workflows and production data to identify bottlenecks, quality risks, and automation opportunities, delivering scalable improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency
  • Partner with Workflow, Product, Engineering, vendors, and other stakeholders to implement workflow, automation, and operational enhancements
  • Build monitoring, reporting, quality control, governance, and exception management frameworks that improve visibility, oversight, and operational resilience
  • Perform root cause analysis on production issues and develop sustainable solutions that reduce recurring operational risks
  • Leverage SQL, Python, ETL/ELT frameworks, GenAI tools, and automation technologies to optimize data acquisition, transformation, validation, and AI-ready workflows
  • Measure and report on operational performance, automation benefits, and process improvement outcomes
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor, promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement across the organization

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in data operations, process improvement, workflow automation, and data governance, including data quality management, metadata management, and operational controls
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation workflows, and data visualization or workflow monitoring tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI), with knowledge of data observability, data quality monitoring, and production controls
  • Experience identifying inefficiencies and delivering measurable improvements through process optimization, automation, monitoring, reporting, and operational performance frameworks
  • Experience developing and maintaining production-grade automation solutions using modern software engineering practices, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and GenAI-enabled development tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data teams
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

We'd love to see:
  • Experience working with company financials, financial statements, broker estimates, fundamentals, or capital markets data. 
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, value stream mapping, or similar frameworks.
