Senior Project Professional
PURPOSE
The Senior Project Professional will lead medium sized projects within Global Business Services or participate in larger Bayer programs or key strategic projects of different nature, like transitions, implementations, mergers, and acquisitions, carve-outs, etc.
YOUR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead or support the successful delivery of projects in accordance with agreed timelines.
- Ensure regular alignment of activities across project teams to enable the application of industry best practices, techniques, and standard methodologies.
- Provide stakeholders with updates on strategy, changes, risk management, and project progress.
- Translate business requirements and business process project requirements into functional specifications.
- Develop appropriate change management strategies to maximize effectiveness and minimize resistance to change.
- Support the development or improvement of operating models, policies, and processes in collaboration with the relevant Global Process Owner.
- Ensure the early identification of project IT requirements.
- Ensure alignment on the project's impact across cross-functional areas through collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at different professional levels in an international and multicultural environment.
- Coordinate the alignment and implementation of processes for international partners, taking into account both business and legal requirements.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Business Admin, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
- +3 years’ experience working in a project management environment
- Project Management certifications (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall (PMP, Prince 2)) preferred.
- Outcome-oriented mindset focused on driving successful project results.
- Customer-centric approach to engage and enhance client satisfaction by co-creating solutions
- Adaptable and agile, ready to learn and evolve based on feedback.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel
- Fluent in English
