About This Role:
The Deputy Clerks in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office provide essential services to the residents of Prince William County and the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. Our office is comprised of a dedicated, innovative, and collaborative team committed to delivering exceptional public service.
This position offers both challenges and rewards and requires a highly organized, professional, adaptable, and self-motivated individual. Key responsibilities include assisting constituents with land recordings and requests; responding to public inquiries; processing applications and records in accordance with established policies and procedures; explaining applicable processes and requirements to the public; and preparing and maintaining related records and documentation. Experience with title research, real estate transactions, mortgage documentation, and loan processing is preferred
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Preferences:
Experience with title research, real estate transactions, mortgage documentation, and loan processing is preferred.
Special Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check.
Work Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Hiring Salary Range:
$23.08-$24.42
This is an "At Will" position, and hires will serve at the pleasure of the Clerk of Court.
