SummaryThis position provides support to the circulation desk at the library.This student employment opportunity supports the development of skills aligned with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies. Through this role, students will strengthen the following competencies:

- Aid with charging and discharging material on library computer systems.
- Shelves, retrieves, and organizes stack material.
- Supports library staff in the maintenance of all collections.
- Assists patron by phone or in person with general information and questions relating to location of resources and equipment.
- Assists patron with using equipment in the library including scanners, computers and printers.
- Refers patron to librarians for research assistance.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter- Good communication skills
- Some proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Library experience preferred, but not required
