As an Administrative Program Specialist with the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH), you’ll support critical administrative and fiscal operations, including contract tracking and monitoring, payroll, and hiring activities. Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. - Serves as the primary point of contact for OBH contract tracking, routing, and inquiries within the Louisiana Department of Health.
- Monitors the OBH contracts inbox and logs incoming contracts, amendments, MOUs, CEAs, and other contract-related documents.
- Maintains organized contract records, standardized naming conventions, email correspondence, tracking logs, and documentation throughout the contract process.
- Tracks the receipt and status of required contract documentation and initiates DocuSign routing for Contract Review Forms (CRFs) and Program Review Confirmation Forms.
- Monitors contract submissions and signature status, ensuring completed documentation is accurately and timely forwarded to appropriate staff.
- Provides administrative, operational, reporting, special project, and process improvement support to OBH leadership and the Contracts Unit.
- Performs payroll and purchasing card functions for assigned OBH staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing and compliance with applicable LDH, OBH, and DOA policies and procedures.
