The Data Migration Lead is responsible for managing and delivering SAP data migration activities, ensuring accurate extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation of data in S/4HANA conversion projects. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive successful data migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead SAP data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL)

Validate and reconcile migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness

Utilize S/4HANA conversion tooling and approaches effectively

Provide delivery leadership for migration projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and governance are met

Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve data-related issues
Requirements
Qualifications & Certifications:

8+ years of relevant experience in SAP data migration or ETL projects

SAP Data Services / Migration Certification preferred

Proven experience in migration delivery leadership
Candidate Requirements:

Experienced, senior-level professional

Preferably with Public Sector project experience

Based in Cape Town or willing to work locally
