Location: Venice, FL Schedule: Monday – Friday | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (3 hours per day) Employment Type: Part-Time Overview: Matrix Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide quality in-home care to patients in the Venice area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent evening hours during the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to patients in their home
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support mobility and ensure patient safety
  • Assist with light housekeeping related to patient care
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Follow care plans and report any changes in patient condition

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (Florida)
  • Minimum 6 months of home care experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work consistently Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Under Florida law, this role is subject to background screening per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, including fingerprinting and review for eligibility before employment.
