Due to continued growth and an expanding technology portfolio, we are seeking an additional IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team. Working alongside our existing Systems Administrator and broader IT team, you will help support and enhance our technology environment across multiple aged care sites. The role will focus on infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, automation, and technical project delivery, while also assisting with operational workloads, improving documentation, and helping drive continuous improvement across our IT systems and processes.
Reporting to our Head of Infrastructure, this role is all about ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and performing at their best, enabling our teams to work efficiently and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care.
As our IT Systems Administrator, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving Infinite Care’s technology environment. You’ll manage servers, networks, software, security, and documentation, while supporting staff with technical issues and contributing to continuous improvement across the organisation.
Ideally located on the Gold Coast in our National Support Office in Bundall, this role suits someone who is proactive, values security and stability, and enjoys working collaboratively to solve problems and uplift digital capability.
The key responsibilities for this role are, but not limited to:
Systems management - Maintain servers, storage, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Network administration - Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, ensuring strong security and reliability.
Software & vendor management - Install, update, and manage applications used across our homes, ensuring compliance and coordinating with vendors when needed.
Data backup & IT security - Implement backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and security policies; conduct audits and vulnerability assessments.
User support & training - Provide technical support and deliver training to uplift staff confidence with systems and applications.
Technology upgrades & projects - Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and new technology evaluations.
About You
You’re someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping others navigate technology with confidence. You bring strong problem‑solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to secure, reliable systems.
- Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong technical knowledge across hardware, software, operating systems, and networking
- Understanding of information security principles and data protection practices
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, or similar environments is highly desirable
- A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or have the ability to get one)
