The REMM Group is actively seeking a skilled Multifamily Maintenance Technician to support our beautiful community in Los Angeles, near Chinatown and Union Station. Work schedule: Tuesday - Saturday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensures completion of all apartment turnover. May assist with minor construction projects and renovations.
- Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally, diagnosing and resolving issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs and document repairs made in Yardi Voyager software.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems before they occur.
- Maintain the Cleanliness and Curb appeal of the property, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Responsible for routine maintenance and emergency problems if needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed to obtain necessary parts and materials.
- Communicate with excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with residents and staff.
- Strategically plan how to turn units with your team.
- Keep storage facilities and equipment organized and in working condition.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to take initiative, working with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Yardi property management software (a plus).
- High Sense of urgency while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Candidate must be able to work in an environment in which demands and priorities change rapidly.
