Your Key Responsibilities
- To ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of shopfloor machinery and automation systems through expert maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and programming skills. This role focuses on sustaining maintenance KPIs, optimizing equipment performance—including PLCs, robots, and IoT devices—while adhering to safety and quality standards. By proactively managing repairs, upgrades, and system installations, the position supports seamless production processes and promotes a culture of teamwork and operational excellence.
- Ensure overall cleanliness and proper functioning of area, tool and machinery.
- Accountable for Maintaining & sustaining the Maintenance KPI’s
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills to complete jobs efficiently with minimal oversight.
- Expertise in PLC and PLC Programming (Siemens, Beckhoff & Allen Bradley Preferred)
- Hands on Knowledge of Robots and Programming (FANUC, EPSON, ABB, Staubli, Kuka Preferred)
- Hands on knowledge of Handshaking of servo drives & auto screw drivers etc. to be hands on experience.
- Hands on knowledge of Field Wiring Knowledge
- Knowledge in Sensors, Motors, Hoist Cranes, Pneumatics Etc. preferred
- Knowledge in IoT hardware and communication
- Able to work for new system installation with in-house automation programming.Able to find major programming bugs & run the line with smooth functions.
- Follow the protocol of Maintenance process.
- Proficient with PLC/Drive software's, SAP, CMMS, and Microsoft Office.
- Tested malfunctioning equipment using diagnostic tools to isolate problem areas and create repair plans.
- Completed repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance procedures according to customer needs and standard maintenance schedules.
- Earned excellent feedback from customers including high marks for efficient work and courteous manner.
- Team collaboration across multiple cross-functional areas
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving in a complex environment
BE / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
10 to 14 years of professional experience.
