Your Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and execute effective maintenance strategies that ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of machinery and equipment. This role is dedicated to sustaining maintenance KPIs through preventive and breakdown maintenance, thorough troubleshooting, and continuous monitoring.
  • By managing maintenance planning, documentation, inventory, and compliance with safety standards, it supports operational excellence and minimizes downtime. Collaborating across teams, the position drives process improvements and embraces new technologies to enhance equipment reliability and production performance.

  • Ensure overall cleanliness and proper functioning of area, tool and machinery.
  • Accountable for Maintaining & sustaining the Maintenance KPI’s
  • Preventive Maintenance: Planning and executing scheduled inspections, lubrication, and routine upkeep to prevent failures.
  • Breakdown Maintenance: Rapidly responding to emergency breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and performing swift repairs.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Identifying root causes of mechanical/hydraulic failures using precision tools and repairing or replacing parts.

  • Monitoring: Observing equipment in operation, analyzing performance data, and using monitoring systems.
  • Documentation: Keeping detailed records of maintenance, repairs, parts used, and creating maintenance procedures
  • Planning: Developing and implementing maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and uptime
  • Inventory Management: Managing stocks of spare parts, fixtures, and supplies, and placing orders
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to health, safety and regulatory standards
  • Supervising technical staff, contractors, and coordinating with other departments
  • Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization and new technology adoption
  • May involve shift work or being on-call, especially in continuous operation
  • Requires collaboration with production, operations, and management teams
  • Crucial for manufacturing, facilities, and production engineering sectors
  • Lead and drive to achieve departmental KPI’s
  • Knowledge of Quality systems, Statistical Process Control would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of GD&T, Engineering Drawings and Auto CAD would be an advantage

 

Your Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical) or other related field or equivalent education and experience require.
  • Approx. 10-12 Years experience with Automotive Quality standards
  • Mechanical, Automation Know-how
  • Practical understanding of modern production and quality management tools, like lean manufacturing TPM
  • Languages: English, Hindi and preferably Marathi
