QA/QC Senior Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Senior Engineer to join our organization in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will lead quality assurance and quality control initiatives, driving continuous improvement across our operations. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset, analytical expertise, and a proven track record of implementing robust quality management systems.

• Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance and quality control strategies, procedures, and protocols to ensure organizational compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems such as ISO 9001
• Lead and conduct comprehensive testing, inspections, audits, and evaluations of products, processes, and systems to identify defects, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
• Analyze quality data using statistical analysis techniques, interpret results to identify trends, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for management review
• Mentor, train, and supervise junior QA/QC staff, providing guidance on best practices, testing methodologies, and quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and operations to implement corrective and preventive actions and drive process optimization
• Stay current with industry developments, emerging testing technologies, and quality management best practices to ensure organizational excellence

Qualifications

**Qualifications:**

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related quality management roles, with demonstrated progression into senior leadership positions
• Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, or equivalent), with experience in system implementation and certification audits
• Expert-level proficiency with QA/QC testing methodologies, tools, and software platforms, including emerging automated testing technologies
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated mastery in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and process improvement techniques
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and organisational skills with proven ability to present complex findings to senior management
• Established leadership experience with a strong record of mentoring and developing high-performing QA/QC teams
• Required: Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification, or equivalent advanced process improvement credentials
• Preferred: Project management certification (PMP or equivalent), Lean methodologies experience, or background in regulated industries
