The Hill’s Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for managing an account base of veterinary clinics within the cities of Aurora, Newmarket, Keswick, Barrie, Midland, Parry Sound, Sudbury, Timmins and surrounding areas. This role focuses on driving net sales, optimizing product mix, and increasing market share and professional endorsement for Hill’s brands. The TM serves as the primary interface with veterinary professionals, positioning Hill’s as the strategic partner of choice through clinical expertise and business development strategies.
Responsibilities:-
Territory Management: Achieve sales targets by planning and executing high-value calls based on account classification. Maintain accurate records in Hill’s reporting systems and manage assigned budgets and expenses.

Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of small animal nutrition, Hill’s product lines, and competitor offerings through continuous self-study and company training.

Clinic Business Development: Build deep networks with key decision-makers and Health Care Teams (HCTs). Provide professional support through detailing, technical training, and merchandising.

Strategic Planning: Develop annual joint business plans for key accounts and conduct quarterly business reviews to assess performance against goals.

Identify Opportunities: Develop technical and business propositions that meet the needs of both Hill’s and the customer, resulting in BRMO leadership and superior 6P execution in clinics.

Market Execution: Implement commercial activities to ensure:

Awareness, full distribution and active endorsement by the veterinary profession of Hill’s products and services in all core disease categories

Rapid acceptance, endorsement, and distribution of new products

Establishment of shelf space and adequate inventory within each clinic

Industry Representation: Represent Hill’s at trade shows, local/national meetings, and clinic events while monitoring competitive trends.

Bachelor’s Degree with previous sales experience OR a 2-year Associate Degree with Registered Veterinary Tech (RVT) credentials
- Valid driver’s license

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Animal Science, or Business Administration. DVM degree is highly preferred.

2+ years of sales experience in the veterinary, pharmaceutical, or nutrition industries.

Licensed DVM or RVT with practice, industry, or veterinary teaching experience.
Compensation
Salary Range $77,400.00 - $90,300.00 CAD per year
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and work or office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive Canada Inc. / Hill’s Pet Nutrition Canada Inc. offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
