This role is part of the D&T department of HEINEKEN International and is located within HEINEKEN Global Shared Services in Kraków. The Technology Specialist – Finance (PtP - Invoice Management) is primarily responsible for the implementation and support of global Purchase-to-Pay (PtP) Invoice Management solutions across Operating Companies (OpCos), ensuring alignment with and adherence to the Global Template.
Your responsibilities will include:
- working within the Invoice Management Product Team (supporting Basware, Esker, and SAP IM) to translate business requirements into solutions within the Purchase-to-Pay domain while safeguarding the Global Template
- keeping up to date with relevant developments in your functional area and ensuring the development, transfer, and retention of knowledge
- delivering functional enhancements, including writing and reviewing functional specifications and test scripts, within agreed timelines and quality standards, while promoting a zero-defect culture
- providing support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training
- managing solution quality and technical debt
- identifying potential bottlenecks and root causes affecting the product and proposing effective solutions to reduce complexity and improve efficiency
- providing guidance and coaching to team members throughout the design process, ensuring the competencies and expertise required to develop, deploy, and support the product are embedded within the team
- coordinating the work of third-party engineers, D&T global solution teams, and enablement teams to ensure successful IT solution delivery and support
- ensuring that non-functional requirements related to security, controls, and compliance with service management standards are embedded within the invoice management platforms
- supporting the design, development, and monitoring of integrations with ERP and other enterprise systems.
You are a great candidate if you have:
- bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- a minimum of 5 years of consulting experience, ideally in the implementation and support of invoice management solutions
- good understanding of PtP processes, with a particular focus on invoice management
- experience in global rollout programs
- proven ability to drive change in managed solutions, design and implement new solutions, and propose innovative ideas to business stakeholders
- strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- ability to work effectively in agile product teams and influence others toward consensus
- ability to understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and build upon the views of others with an open and collaborative mindset
- demonstrated proactiveness, independence, and analytical thinking when solving complex issues
- experience with the implementation and support of Basware P2P Cloud solutions
- SAP technical experience, including SAP FI/CO configuration and workflow configuration (e.g., SAP Invoice Management)
- experience with middleware integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO, Solace, Boomi, MuleSoft, or Azure API Management (APIM)
- experience in test automation
- understanding of IT controls implementation and execution
- good understanding of change management and release management processes.
Experience in Purchase-to-Pay (PtP):
- hands-on experience with PtP finance platforms, with invoice processing expertise being essential. Experience in procurement, payments, Travel & Expense (T&E), and vendor master data management is an advantage
- understanding of IT systems supporting PtP processes, such as ERP systems, procurement platforms, and supplier management solutions
- strong knowledge of PtP processes, particularly invoice management
- understanding of data privacy, security standards, and secure data handling practices across integrated systems
- experience with API integrations and custom development supporting PtP workflows.
