Code Red Safety is looking for a Safety Supervisor to support maintenance operations at a manufacturing plant in Summit, IL. Our client provides maintenance services for this plant, and they need a Safety Supervisor to enforce all safety policies. You will be involved with field observations and audits, as well as training, record keeping and report writing. This job will start ASAP on a 1099 through Code Red Safety working 40 hours/week. After 6 months, performance pending, our client is open to hiring the candidate directly as their W2 employee. The current work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Local candidates only as there is no per diem available.

- Have 5+ years of field safety management experience (general industry experience preferred)
- Must have one of the following certifications: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CSSS, CSST, CHST, COSS, CSHO or similar
- Must be able to pass a drug test & background check.
