Description & Requirements

Product Lead – Platform

The Product and Customer Entitlement (PACE) team builds and operates an internal platform as a service, providing the tools, services, and data infrastructure that empower teams across the business to make smarter, faster decisions. PACE sits at the intersection of product intelligence and customer data — surfacing eligibility and entitlement insights that help internal stakeholders drive growth, improve retention, and support clinical management outcomes. By centralising product information, eligibility data and customer entitlement in a scalable platform, PACE enables teams to move with greater speed and confidence without having to build these capabilities from scratch. As a shared services platform, the work we do multiplies impact across the organisation, making us a foundational part of how the business operates and scales.

As the Customer Product Lead within the PACE team, you will build and lead the product management capability, shaping how investments translate into measurable business, customer and operational outcomes. This role will have end-to-end accountability for platform strategy, platform governance, discovery, delivery, adoption and retirement across the platform. You will own the strategic direction, health and value realisation of a diverse platform as a service (product) – ensuring it remains focused, scalable, commercially sound and demonstrably valuable.

You will act as the bridge between the business, customers, and delivery teams, overseeing a team of Product Managers and ensuring a consistent approach to product implementation and measurement across various value streams. You will be required to operate at scale, balance innovation with risk, and embed product discipline within a large organisation environment – while still moving decisively.

This role includes (but is not limited) to:

  • Set and own the platform product strategy, focusing investment on high-value prioritise and guiding the platform as a service product lifecycle
  •  Develop a prioritised, outcome-drive platform as a service, that aligns with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and customer needs – actively retiring low-value or redundant services
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive landscape analysis to identify emerging opportunities and keep the platform ahead of customer expectations
  • Ensure the platform is focused, scalable, commercially sound and delivering clear, measurable value and adoption
  • Contribute to the overall organisational strategy and vision, bringing market, customer and business insights to inform long-term direction
  • Lead the Product Management function by establishing standards, governance, and prioritisation frameworks, guiding ideas from inception through to adoption and retirement
  • Establish clear decision rights, ownership, and governance frameworks across the platform, embedding proactive governance testing and regulatory controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of product information is always upheld — without slowing delivery
  • Represent product priorities in organisation quarterly planning cycles, intake sessions, senior forums to influence funding and investment decisions
  •  Promote modern product practices including discovery-led analysis, hypothesis driven thinking and outcome-focused delivery
  • Drive improvements in tooling, templates and workflow to enhance efficiency and quality across the product practice
  • Enable responsible AI practices with robust controls where AI-enabled capabilities are introduced, representing the Product & Loyalty division as an AI stewardship lead
