Job Summary We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in REST/SOAP API testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for REST/SOAP APIs.
• Develop and maintain test frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Understanding of database testing and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on API testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
