Maintain and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS) for Molex Shanghai to:
• Ensure full compliance with customer requirements to support business growth.
• Meet the latest international and industry standards required for third party certifications.
• Enhance end to end QMS effectiveness and efficiency through systematic improvement, from product design to mass production & whole supply chain.
• Support quality management digitalization, including the application of Power BI, Power Apps, SAP, OPC, and AI technologies.
What You Will Do
• Develop and maintain the end to end Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure quality from new product design to mass production & supplier chain, documentation QMS including manuals, procedures, work instructions, and forms, in alignment with the latest ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AIAG, VDA, ISO 13485 standards, and customer-specific requirements.
• Plan and conduct regular internal QMS audits, process audits, and product audits; follow up on CAPA, drive continuous improvement, pass third party audits, and maintain all related certifications.
Understand customer requirements, perform gap analysis, prepare for and manage customer QMS audits, ensure successful audit closure, prepare CAPA, and ensure timely completion.
• Deliver QMS related training to enhance organizational quality awareness and competency.
• Lead internal and external communication on all QMS related topics.
• Support and lead quality digitalization projects to improve QA efficiency and effectiveness using Power BI, Power Apps, SAP, OPC, AI, and related technologies.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s degree in management, science, IT, or Engineering.
• English proficiency at CET 4 level or above, with good spoken and written communication skills.
PREFERRED: • English CET 6; a third language such as Japanese or Korean.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: • 5+ years of QMS working experience in a well known electric connector or solutions manufacturing & design company.
• Familiarity with electric , automotive, medical industrial manufacturing processes such as stamping, molding, plating, painting, assembly, punching, SMT, etc.
• Proven project experience in quality digitalization, using software such as SAP, OPC, Power BI, Power Apps, AI, and related tools.
PREFERRED: • Working experience in a top connector or solution company.
• Experience of QMS digitalization such as system support, automation, digitalization tools, or data driven quality improvement.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED: • Excellent teamwork capability in a multicultural environment, demonstrated through self motivation, strong collaboration, willingness to share, and positive team engagement.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Mandatory auditor certifications, including:
• ISO 9001 Internal/External Auditor
• IATF 16949 Internal/External Auditor
• ISO13485 Internal/External auditor
• VDA 6.3/6.5 Internal/External Auditor
• Preferred additional certifications:
• AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
• CQI 11 / CQI 23/CQI-17 Process Auditor
• Proficiency in digitalization tools, especially Power BI, Power Apps, AI related applications, and other quality related software.
PREFERRED: • ISO/IATF / VDA 6.3 Auditor experience applied in real projects.
• Strong IT skills, including system troubleshooting, automation tools, data processing, or digital quality improvement.
• Ability to conduct frequent oral English communication with global teams.
• Hands on capability with digitalization tools, such as SAP, OPC, Power BI, Power Apps, or AI driven quality applications.
• Experience leading cross functional teams in problem solving methodologies (8D, PDCA, DMAIC).
• Familiarity with customer specific requirements (automotive/Medical or electronics industry).
