Team Introduction
The Data Management Suite team builds products that support the full lifecycle of data pipelines, including data ingestion and integration, data development, data catalog, data security, and data governance. These products serve a wide range of business scenarios and help data engineers and data scientists significantly improve productivity.
As a Software Engineer on the Data Management Suite team, you will have the opportunity to build, optimize, and scale one of the largest data platforms in the world. You will gain hands-on experience working on core systems across the data platform ecosystem, and your work will have a direct impact on the company’s core products and hundreds of millions of users.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement a unified data development platform to improve the efficiency of global data producers, including intelligent IDE capabilities, workflow management, and multi-engine integration.
- Explore efficient approaches to managing distributed states and synchronizing metadata between centralized systems and regional environments worldwide.
- Design and develop a high-performance, distributed scheduling system to manage large-scale tasks across different business lines throughout ByteDance.
- Work closely with partner teams across the company and around the world.
- Design and develop integrations with other systems across the big data ecosystem.
