About the Team
The AI Data Service and Operations (ADSO) team is responsible for providing safety and non-safety data annotation services and search operation services for all of the company's international products, which can also help international products build their own data ecological security.
PQA SMEs are motivated & proactive individuals who have an excellent understanding of Linguistic Intelligence policies and projects. As SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), they are also knowledgeable about quality management and training processes. PQA SMEs, alongside the TL, will mentor, guide, and support our PQAs, ensuring that our PQAs are set up for success.
Responsibilities:
- Review new project guidelines and work with PQA on any amendments required for project landing.
- Support the development and ownership of policy guidelines, ensuring that guidelines are clear, comprehensible, and up-to-date at all times.
- Look for areas of improvement in policy and processes and work alongside TL and XFN teams across the business to further optimise or refine processes.
- Review training plans prepared by PQA and cross-check with the project plan to ensure information is synced up across teams.
- Ensure PQA and LQA conduct guideline training within the stipulated timeline, and provide support where assistance is required.
- Monitor the overall performance of PQA projects (accuracy and productivity) and collaborate with PQA on root cause analysis (RCA) and action plan preparation.
- Review PQA's Juren test reviews and join random calibrations conducted by PQA to ensure consistency across reviewers.
- Conduct catch-ups with TL and PQA for projects with possible risks or underperforming metrics, to provide support on improving accuracy.
- Conduct risk assessments on key project deliverable metrics such as quality, output, and timelines adherence to proactively identify potential risks before they occur.
- Review PQA's arrangements for agents to improve their overall performance, including setting up training performance sheets.
- Monitor PQA's daily preparation: project data updates, and PSR tracker updates.
- Monitor LQA's daily task completion and project support reporting.
- Take note of daily communication between PQA, LQA, POC, and other stakeholders to ensure matters raised are addressed in a timely manner.
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to address system/platform issues and project bottlenecks, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Host the Linguistic Intelligence weekly WBR on a monthly rotational basis with SMEs from other business pillars.
- Act as backup TL during TL's absence
- Support onboarding for new PQAs and LQAs, acting as a buddy/mentor by providing guidance to new joiners within the team.
- Support backup for PQAs during leave for project and arrange sampling support/backup during LQA absence.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification(s):
- At least six months of PQA experience
- Possess SME knowledge in Linguistic Intelligence projects with a proven strong track record of project excellence
- Able to work under minimal supervision and have strong logic/common sense related to job nature
- Highly organized with an eye for detail and the aptitude to make ongoing improvements in the everyday work of the team
- Excellent time management & multi-tasking skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Outstanding natural communicator (verbal/written) with excellent language and communication skills at full proficiency level in English
- Ability to communicate efficiently cross-departmentally, with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders
