Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 14 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 10 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience in revenue recognition (ASC 606) and US GAAP, specifically revenue recognition principles and their application within the technology industry.
- Experience building, developing, or leading a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experienced revenue recognition professional with in-depth understanding of US GAAP, specifically revenue recognition principles and their application within the technology industry.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering individual growth through effective coaching and mentorship.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex accounting information clearly and concisely to senior management and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities
- Partner proactively with Sales, Legal, and Business Development teams during early-stage negotiations to design commercial structures that optimize financial reporting outcomes.
- Lead the technical assessment of complex deals to define accounting conclusions, while simultaneously transforming those insights into scalable frameworks that streamline revenue recognition across the entire portfolio, while managing full-cycle accounting for customers, from negotiation through final reporting, ensuring precision for our most complex global accounts.
- Collaborate with Finance Systems and Engineering teams to scale our systems infrastructure, leveraging Gemini and machine learning to automate contract reviews and eliminate manual workflows.
- Enable rapid market access by driving requirements upstream while spearheading automated global controls to ensure financial integrity and statutory accuracy.
- Manage and mentor a talented team of technical accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and high-performance.
