General information
The Electric Propulsion team is part of Technology & Innovation within Central Engineering Services in the Research & Development division. The team supports the development of innovative e-machine concepts through simulation-based investigations and prototype development. In addition, new simulation workflows are evaluated and introduced to further enhance technical capabilities and development efficiency.
A basic requirement for an internship at Schaeffler is proof of enrollment at the time of the internship. This position is available as soon as possible for a duration of 6 months.
Your Key Responsibilities

Model setup in JMAG for relevant components or subcomponent

Setup and execution of topology optimization using finite element simulation
- Evaluation of simulation parameter influence on results
Your Qualifications
- Studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable field of study
- Proficient in MS Office Programs
- Basic knowledge of electric machines and simulation methods
- Adventage: Experience with finite element simulation
