You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, cost savings initiatives, and value analysis projects to optimize supplier performance and reduce overall costs.
- Procure automotive components, tooling, and MRO materials while ensuring uninterrupted support of plant operations.
- Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, delivery, and service, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication, site visits, and collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate supply chain disruptions, resolve purchasing-related issues, and support timely production requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and the Accounting team to ensure successful project execution and timely invoice processing.
- Prepare purchasing reports, maintain procurement documentation, and support strategic sourcing and compliance activities.
This is what you bring to us:
2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within an automotive, manufacturing, tooling, or MRO environment.- Strong knowledge of purchasing practices, supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement processes.
- Experience working with SAP and MRP systems, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a strong focus on cost optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Understanding of supplier performance metrics, cost management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
