Role Summary

As a Supply Chain Synchronization Planner within the Planning Tower, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Synchronization Leader and serve as the central liaison bridging Sub/Hub Demand Planners with Production Planners across Colgate-Palmolive facilities and contract manufacturers. In this dynamic role, you will drive supply chain efficiency by translating demand signals into synchronized inventory and distribution requirements across the regional supply network. This role offers an exciting opportunity to optimize end-to-end network flows and influence key operational decision-making using industry-leading planning tools. Your primary objective is to maximize customer service performance while strategically balancing inventory carrying costs and supply chain risks.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Distribution Planning & Execution: Own and manage Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) for assigned product segments, executing daily, weekly, and monthly planning cycles to ensure high product availability, synchronized New Product Introductions (NPI), and seamless sourcing transitions.

  • Supply Resolution & Risk Mitigation: Review system alerts and leverage scenario planning capabilities to proactively identify and resolve supply shortages, overstock risks, and distribution disruptions with actionable solutions.

  • Cross-Functional Governance & Alignment: Identify and bridge operational gaps across Demand Planning, Production Planning, Transportation, Warehouse Operations, and Customer Service to optimize end-to-end supply chain KPIs and enhance supplier responsiveness.

  • Data Analytics & Master Data Governance: Maintain core planning master data and capacity inputs using advanced inventory optimization logic to ensure accurate data drives distribution and export planning strategies.

  • Performance Management & Continuous Improvement: Lead weekly and monthly KPI review cadence with leadership, performing root-cause analysis on target misses and driving best practices for finished goods replenishment.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning, specifically within distribution and deployment planning 
  • Experience using ERP systems (such as SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA) 
  • Proficiency with Advanced Planning Solutions (such as SAP APO, Kinaxis, or similar tools) 
  • Fluent in English (Spoken and written)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong end-to-end supply chain acumen with a holistic understanding of supply network connectivity
  • Solid understanding of core planning master data and their interdependencies
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive data-backed decisions
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated independence and cross-functional collaboration skills
