Join us in this role where you’ll lead sourcing activities for jack-up vessel charter parties, while also supporting procurement of services for offshore works in connection with maintenance of Ørsted’s offshore wind fleet. You’ll use your commercial insight, negotiation skills, strategic mindset, market knowledge, and contract management experience to deliver solid solutions that support critical offshore activities.

You’ll be part of Jack Up & SOV Procurement where you, together with your colleagues, will source vessels and offshore services, with focus on main component exchange services, while working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across markets.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading sourcing activities (incl. sourcing strategy) for jack-up vessel charter parties
  • leading sourcing activities for service agreements that support offshore works, including main component exchange services and heavy lift equipment
  • managing supplier engagement, negotiations, and commercial discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  • applying strong contract management practices throughout sourcing and procurement activities
  • using market insight, business case analysis, and total cost of ownership thinking  to support sound procurement decisions
  • driving initiatives that improve ways of working and strengthen sourcing outcomes.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have solid experience in procurement, sourcing, negotiations, and strategy within vessel chartering and offshore services
  • have solid experience with BIMCO Supply Time, service agreements and preferably also FIDIC
  • bring strong commercial understanding, including cost drivers, total cost of ownership, and supplier market dynamics
  • have ability to translate business impacts into procurement requirements
  • are confident in contract management and can support supplier relationships from sourcing through execution
  • communicate clearly and effectively with Senior stakeholders, suppliers, and colleagues across different markets
  • work independently, stay flexible when prioritise change, and take a proactive approach to solving problems
  • bring global or cross-market experience.

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr63,520.00- kr95,280.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
