Join us in this role where you’ll define the architecture and technology direction for our Digital Workplace domain. You’ll help shape how we use Microsoft 365, endpoint services, secure workstations, document management, and collaboration platforms to support a secure, modern, and user-focused workplace.

 

Welcome to Infrastructure Architecture
You’ll be part of Infrastructure Architecture where you, together with your colleagues, will set the architectural direction for core infrastructure domains across Ørsted. You’ll work closely with product managers, architects, security specialists, and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and future-fit technology choices.

As a team, we combine deep technical expertise with curiosity, collaboration, and a shared ambition to create solutions that make it easier for people across Ørsted to do their best work.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • defining the architectural direction for our Digital Workplace domain, including Microsoft 365, endpoint services, secure workstations, document management, and collaboration platforms
  • shaping technology roadmaps and standards that support secure, reliable, and user-friendly digital workplace services
  • working closely with product managers and solution architects to ensure that technology choices are aligned across products and platforms
  • advising on endpoint protection, encryption, secure workstation access, backup, and the use of collaboration tools across Ørsted
  • translating technical opportunities and constraints into clear recommendations for stakeholders across Digital Technology and the business
  • contributing to the ongoing simplification, modernisation, and security of our digital workplace landscape.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have strong architectural understanding of digital workplace technologies, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Windows, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and endpoint services
  • bring experience with endpoint security, secure workstation concepts, encryption, backup, and workplace infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment
  • can set technology direction across a suite of products while balancing business needs, security requirements, user experience, and standardisation
  • are comfortable working closely with product managers, architects, and technical teams to turn strategy into practical architecture decisions
  • communicate technical topics clearly and can guide stakeholders through decisions in a confident, constructive, and inclusive way
  • have a completed degree within IT, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Position salary range: 

For this role, the base pay will be determined according to the relevant pay structure for the location where the position is filled. Actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and the expected role fulfilment to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package. Pay details specific to your location will be provided during the interview process.
