Position Overview
An opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and reliable Despatch Hand to join our team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Despatch Manager, this position plays a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate despatch, receipting, delivery and pickup of stock to support our customers across Adeliade and surrounding regions.
What you will do
- Accurately process despatch and receipting activities, maintaining clear records and paperwork.
- Load, unload, label and handle products safely to prevent damage and ensure on-time delivery.
- Operate forklifts and equipment safely, ensuring all personnel are licensed and procedures are followed.
- Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules, communicate with carriers and customers, and manage driver paperwork.
- Collaborate with Production and Purchasing to ensure goods are available, resolving issues promptly.
- Promote a zero-injury safety culture and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
What we require
- LF Forklift License
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending, packing, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays when required to meet customer demands
- Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills

- Exposure to warehouse or assembly environments
