If you're someone who enjoys staying organized, solving logistical puzzles, and making sure the right materials get to the right place at the right time, this could be the opportunity for you. As a Storage Planning Specialist, you'll play a critical role in coordinating the safe storage, movement, and distribution of materials that support our manufacturing operations. From directing truck and rail traffic to planning storage capacity, maintaining shipment records, and partnering with production teams, you'll help ensure operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. If you have experience in warehousing, logistics, dispatch, or material handling and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different, we'd love to connect with you. 

As the Storage Planning Specialist here’s the work you’ll do:
  • Plans reciept, storage, and allocation of production or general stores material. Ensures all storage compatibilty and capacity requirements are followed. 
  • Directs truck and rail movements to point of loading or unloading. 
  • Maintains records of vehicle contents, trailer and car numbers, carriers, and crew assignments. Maintains records of inbound and outbound shipments. 
  • Recieves material requests from production expediters/planners and coordinates delivery and pick-up. 
  • Supports Storage supervision on crew assignments, load planning, storage availability and re-warehousing efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

And if you have these qualifications:
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.
  • Associate’s Degree (AA) from two-year college Preferred.
  • 2-3 years in Warehousing, Material Handling, Dispatch, Logistics or related position Required.
  • MS Office Experience (Word, Excel, Outlook) Required.
  • SAP Experience Preferred.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $47,040 - $70,560 annually. Please note that this range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
