As the Tribe Lead - Global Cloud & Hosting you and your team are part of the Global Digital Infrastructure Portfolio within D&T. You define and drive the Cloud & Hosting vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring scalable, secure, high performing and cost-efficient Cloud & Hosting platforms and services that enable HEINEKEN’s global application landscape.
You lead a multidisciplinary tribe consisting of Product Owners (Global Cloud, Edge Cloud), the Tribe Architect, and the C&H chapter lead, ensuring alignment between business needs, architecture, and delivery.
You are responsible for maximising business value, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across all cloud & hosting services globally.
Your responsibilities would include:
- defining, owning and communicating the global Cloud & Hosting vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with enterprise and D&T strategy. Ensure a coherent product strategy across Global Cloud and Edge Cloud domains. Drive the evolution towards hybrid, multi-cloud, and edge computing capabilities
- leading a high-performing tribe consisting of Product Owners and the Tribe Architect. Setting clear priorities, fostering an agile mindset, and ensuring strong collaboration across teams. Building capabilities, talent, and culture aligned with HEINEKEN leadership expectations
- ensuring optimal prioritisation of each demand from the global HEINEKEN organisation (including transformational digitisation programs) and value delivery across all cloud & hosting products overseeing the delivery of global and edge cloud services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. Enabling engineering excellence aligned with DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, and automation practices
- leading cloud transformation initiatives including migrations, modernisation, and edge enablement. Promoting adoption of new technologies and innovation (e.g., cloud-native, AI/ML, edge computing)
- Ensuring operational excellence through automation, monitoring, resilience, and service quality responsible for the financial governance of Cloud & Hosting technologies. Continuously evaluating the economic efficiency of HEINEKENs Cloud & Hosting platforms. Included are all expenditures (capital and operating expenses) and proceeds (charge-outs to HEINEKEN operating companies through FinOps capabilities). Developing the annual budgets and contribute to annual 5-year planning to project the long-term run rate of Cloud & Hosting solutions
- building strong relationships with business stakeholders across all domains (e.g. Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance) and (regional) D&T functions (cybersecurity, data & analytics, and application teams). Acting as senior interface towards cloud providers and managed service partners (e.g., hyperscalers and MSPs, such as T-Systems, Microsoft, Triple IT, Lemongrass)
- co-owning Cloud & Hosting architecture strategy with the Tribe Architect and Enterprise Architecture. Ensuring adherence to global architectural standards, security, and compliance requirements. Driving standardisation across regions and operating companies
- utilizing deep problem solving and critical thinking skills to develop solutions for difficult challenges that exist across HEINEKEN Cloud & Hosting ecosystem
- collaborating with Scrum Master to lead a high-performing, agile, Cloud & Hosting Tribe to deliver fit-for-use and fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- a Master’s degree in IT
- strong and demonstrated leadership experience (10+ years) with Cloud & Hosting in a multinational environment
- the ability to be an inspirational servant leader for the Tribe
- strong leadership experience in cloud & hosting, platform engineering, or infrastructure domains
- proven experience managing global teams and external partners
- a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid and edge architectures
- experience with FinOps, vendor management, and large-scale transformation programmes
- the ability to translate business strategy into technology execution
- strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior management level
- an entrepreneurial mindset with strong delivery focus
- excellent written and verbal English skills.
