Role Title: Army - Course Manager

Role Description: The candidate will conduct course administration, lead course coordination as required and support training development and improvement functions. The effect being sought is in the context of training relating to military rural and urban movement, close-quarter battle, roping and military explosives, and other activities as directed..  The service must include support to training preparation and administration, and course management within Training Wing. The service will involve coordinating the administration of the full spectrum of courses delivered by ADFSSO. The service will span across the entire lifecycle of a course, from planning through delivery and execution, followed by review activities to support continuous improvement and course governance.


•    Regular common requirements include:
•         Manage courses conducted by Training Wing ADFSSO.
•         Administrative and clerical support to course delivery, administration, and governance.
•         Generation of required documentation, information, and other outputs in the format and to the standard specified by the Commonwealth.
•         Provision support services to meet emergent deadlines.
 
Candidate must be prepared to deliver the requested effects/services during established business hours with the expectation that some training iterations will demand support after hours. Interstate and regional travel will be required to various training locations in order to support the delivery and execution of training courses.


Deliverables
General course administration
o   Conducting Learning Management Package and Course Session requests
o   Conducting Course Session Management, PMKeyS data entry, and qualification audits
o   Conduct of trainee tracking and administration

Planning
o   Course scheduling and deconfliction
o   Coordinate the conduct of planning conferences
o   Generation and maintenance of Daily Training Programmes
o   Coordination of Logistical and Support requests and demands
o   Conduct of ADFSSO training facility preparation and administration
o   Conduct of Facility and training area bookings

Essential Requirements:
1.     Demonstrated experience in the delivery of instructional content relating to Special Forces.
2.    Demonstrated experience in the planning and/or delivery of training courses or curriculums. 
3.    Ability to provide be on location at Holsworthy Barracks, during working hours of 0900 – 1700h.
4.    Hold an active AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 at a minimum, NV2 preferred) 
5.    No impediments to gain access to the Defence Protected Network and Defence Secret Network.
6.    Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills who are Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
7.    Strong organisational and time management skills who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable Requirements: •    Strong capability in strategic planning and roadmap development for enterprise geospatial capabilities
1.    Familiarity and experience with the ADF
2.    Proven experience working as a high-level Project Support in Defence.

Required Security Clearance Level: An active AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 at a minimum, NV2 preferred)  

Location: Holsworhty Barracks, Holsworthy

Weekly Hours: 40

Travel: Some interstate and regional travel
