Floor Supervisor, Housekeeping

1. To upkeep and maintain all guestrooms, public areas, corridors, pantry areas and fire exits; (staircases) in assigned areas in accordance with The Peninsula Quality Standard of cleanliness and orderliness as set forth by the Executive Housekeeper.
2. To supervise and monitor the activities of the PM/AM room attendants and to inspect and declare rooms for sale needed by the Front Office.
3. Responsible in the supervision of all the Public Area Attendants, coordination of all the activities of all the staff to ensure attainment of the highest standard of cleanliness, orderliness, attractiveness of the hotel premises and its surroundings.
4. Service and quality standard are within the HK department.
5. Responsible for the overall maintenance of assigned areas. Trains, disciplines and motivates subordinates; administrative functions, guests and subordinates’ safety and security, attends to guest’s complaints and requests promptly.
6. Disciplines and motivates subordinates.
7. Attends to guest’s complaints and requests promptly.
8. Ensures that turn down services (TDS) of the room is properly done.
9. Controls of public area office keys, preparation of the staff working schedules, controls cleaning supplies and equipment, cleanliness, orderliness and sanitation of public areas and other related areas of the hotel.
10. Recommend and/or execute management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign or discipline employees.

Requirements

• Meticulous, attention to details, result and service oriented
• Can work under pressure
• Fluent in oral and written English
• At least 2 years experience as Floor Supervisor
