Intralox, located in Harahan, LA., has an exciting opportunity for a Mechatronics Apprenticeship within our 2 state-of-the-art injection molding facilities. These 24/7 manufacturing operations utilize injection molding machines to produce components used in the manufacturing of plastic modular conveyor belts. This apprenticeship program follows a dual training approach in which you will receive a combination of related instruction at a local college paired with on-the-job training.
The Mechatronics Program
Mechatronics is a combination of skills and knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, electronics, robotics and control systems.
During the 2-year apprenticeship, you will attend a local community college with an Intralox approved course load. In between school sessions, you will receive on the job training at Intralox, a division of Laitram, LLC.
This program will start in the Fall semester of 2026.

Job Responsibilities and RequirementsRequirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass assessment for apprenticeship
- Must be enrolled or looking to enroll in a local community college
- Must have reliable transportation to and from education providers and company.
- Ability and eagerness to learn
- Must be able to perform the essential job requirements, including the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be 18 years old by the time of program start
